- ➤ Abigail Collins of Fargo started a GoFundMe with a $2,400 goal to help her aunt Sandy after a fire on Friday, Jan. 10 in rural Clay County took her home, brother, pets & belongings. The fundraiser aims to cover essential living expenses. KVRR
- ➤ Ann Prifrel is named CEO of Great Plains Food Bank today. She brings over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience to advance hunger relief efforts in local communities. KVRR
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Moorhead will host the 10th and final Frostival at Viking Ship Park on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event (organized by Visit Fargo-Moorhead) will include sauna sessions, live music by Meat Rabbits, snowga, a bonfire and a snowshoe walk. KVRR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Organizers say the annual homeless count will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 28 in areas including rural communities and the lakes region, as volunteers collect data from shelters + unofficial places to help guide future services. KVRR

Frostglow: Winter Aerial Showcase | January 23 & 25
A family friendly event featuring aerial performances by both adults and youth. Located at FMCT inside of the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead, donation only- all donations will go towards growing the FM Aerial community: accessible classes, inviting guest instructors, and future event planning.
