- ➤ Fargo-Moorhead radio stations are hosting the annual Cares for Kids Radiothon to raise funds for Sanford Children's Hospital and its programs — including a trip to Walt Disney World for champion Piper Hegland. The fundraiser continues today from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. KVRR

- ➤ Eddie Bauer at West Acres is closing with discount signs posted, while Francesca’s is shutting down amid vendor disputes — mall rep Alissa Adams said new concepts will debut this spring. KVRR
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Rourke Art Gallery in Moorhead is hosting its third annual Call Me! exhibit on Thursday, Jan. 29 and running through Feb. 22, featuring retro, mid-century art on Valentine’s themes. A reception on Friday, Feb. 13 will serve drinks + donuts with vintage postcards for valentine crafting. KVRR
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Local high schoolers from Park Christian School presented 87 science projects today in the main gym as they competed for state and national recognition. Winners were selected by a panel of judges and some will refine their projects for the state championships in March. KVRR
- ➤ A tentative agreement was reached between Moorhead Area Public Schools and Education Moorhead on a two-year teacher contract for 2025 to 2027 after 9.5 hours of mediation. The agreement will be subject to ratification by Education Moorhead members and approval by the Moorhead School Board. KVRR
