- ➤ A 36-year-old Moorhead man, Jamal Ahmed, pleaded guilty to murder in the 2nd degree without intent in Clay County Court for shooting and killing 37-year-old Franky Torres near Romkey Park last July and is held without bond until sentencing on May 7. KVRR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber is urging residents to contact members of the North Dakota Senate’s Local Government Committee to vote against a bill that would end daylight saving time. The bill is expected to burden cities and travelers, and a hearing is set for Thursday at 10 a.m. KVRR
