- ➤ Xcel Energy will send over $130 million from federal tax credits to Upper Midwest customers, with Minnesota refunds of about $2.46 per month over nine months starting today. Its nuclear plants near Monticello and Red Wing help supply more than one-quarter of regional electricity. KVRR
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The BIA Foundation of Red River Valley invites high school students interested in construction trades to apply for a scholarship of up to $1,000 at Minnesota State Community and Technical College or North Dakota State College of Science — applications close May 1. KVRR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ MnDOT has announced more than 200 summer road construction projects statewide, including a plan to complete the 11th Street underpass in Moorhead. Drivers are advised to follow work zone safety guidelines as the projects begin soon. KVRR
