➤ Country hit duo Maddie & Tae will perform at Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen on Friday, July 25; tickets (priced between $26 and $52 plus fees) will go on sale online on April 28. KVRR

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ The Clay County Commission invited representatives from White Earth Nation to a meeting on April 22 to discuss a draft letter supporting a tribal casino on 280 acres near I-94 and Highway 336—an initiative that may bring economic and social benefits to the community. KVRR

SPORTS NEWS

➤ Driving ranges at Osgood and Edgewood are now open while the Rose Creek range should open today — weather permitting — and Prairiewood will open all holes on Thursday, with Edgewood, Rose Creek, Osgood and El Zagal following on Friday. Village Green and The Meadows in Moorhead also started their season this past weekend. KVRR
