- ➤ A time capsule buried during the Fargo-Moorhead Centennial Celebration in 1975 will be opened on June 26 at the Civic Center Plaza in downtown Fargo—officials will unseal the capsule at 5 p.m.—as part of Fargo ’70s Retro Rewind, which offers food, music and fun from 4 to 6 p.m. KVRR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Construction on the F-M diversion affecting northbound I-29 near Harwood is causing delays as the lane at mile marker 75 remains closed until the northbound bridge opens in July (weather permitting). Traffic will shift from bypass lanes to main lanes and speeds reduced to 55 mph for safety. KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Tuesday, Sanford Health held a groundbreaking for Peltier Lodge which will give out-of-town cancer patients a place to stay near the Roger Maris Cancer Center in north Fargo. The lodge, named for a supporting family from Arthur, will start construction after Sanford funds half of the $10 million project and is expected to take about two years to complete. KVRR
