ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Breckenridge motorcyclist lost control on I-94 near Monticello Sunday at 5 p.m.—he was thrown from his bike, was not wearing a helmet, and is now hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. KVRR
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Moorhead Police are asking for help locating a white 2010 Chrysler 300 with Minnesota license plates EJJ379 and red lettering on the rear window from a shooting on June 19 in the 1100 block of 12 Street South—do not approach the vehicle but call police with its location as they also seek the driver after a 17-year-old passenger is identified as the suspect. KVRR
- ➤ Moorhead Police investigated a shooting on Sunday at around 11 p.m. on the 700 block of 15th Street N where officers found spent cartridges and a man was treated at a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound — police said the victim and suspect knew each other and no gun has been recovered. KVRR

- ➤ Red River Zoo launched Critter Camp Monday, June 23 for four-to-six-year-olds to learn about animals and conservation while meeting mini-Highland cows and an African Spurred Tortoise named Fred—this weeklong camp gives young kids their first zoo camp experience. KVRR
- ➤ Today the MSUM Planetarium in Moorhead hosted a screening of never-before-seen space photos from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile—its telescope began recording in October 2024 and released the images on June 23. Dr. Sara Schultz, who visited the observatory during construction, said the photos offer exciting potential for space research and learning, and the event was free to attend. KVRR
