- ➤ The Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo saw near-record attendance as 143,740 people visited and the closing show by Lauren Daigle + Josiah Queen and Nick Hall, presented by Pulse ND, drew 12,800 fans on Sunday. Fair leaders credited community feedback and their hard work for the event's success. KVRR
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A standoff in south Moorhead ended with a suspect arrested after he broke into a home with two people and fled when law enforcement disabled his car with stop sticks—SWAT later secured him and confirmed that the occupants remained safe. KVRR
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sanford Ambulance paramedics now give whole blood at the scene to help save lives before patients reach a hospital. Medical Director Jason Van Valkenburg said the new step uses O-positive blood + it works for any patient to help stabilize severe injuries within minutes of the incident. KVRR
