- ➤ United Way of Cass-Clay named Sandi Piatz its new president and CEO. Piatz, who brings over two decades of executive experience (15 years with United Way), will begin her role August 25 as she takes over from Karla Isley. KVRR
- ➤ Katya—called Pig for her silly snorts—is a gentle pit bull in Moorhead who is one and a half years old and had her tail amputated after a break; her foster mom said she loves to cuddle and play, though very small children may be bounced around during her enthusiastic antics. KVRR
