CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police responded to a shooting just before 4 a.m. on August 16 at an apartment on the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue South and found 53-year-old Nancy Acosta and 21-year-old Camilo Acosta dead from gunshot wounds in a suspected murder-suicide—both a juvenile and another adult present were unharmed. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Cass County Vector Control will ground spray rural cities tonight at 8 and conduct aerial spraying in Fargo and West Fargo Tuesday night at 7:30 for mosquitoes; Moorhead will start targeted mosquito spraying today at 8:30—if weather conditions are not favorable, the spraying will move to Wednesday night. Residents who have submitted a Ground Spraying Exemption do not need to reapply. KVRR
