- ➤ A Moorhead man, 37 year old Joshua Carney, is in Clay County Jail for an alleged assault after a stabbing on Tuesday morning at the 300 block of 16th Street North + he fled before officers caught him while the victim, known to him, was taken to a Fargo hospital with a serious wound. KVRR
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Visit Fargo-Moorhead has hired Shirley Hughes—former CVB employee—to replace retiring CEO Charley Johnson next week. Hughes has held roles at companies like Paramount Studios and Hard Rock Cafes and said the move lets her be closer to her family and lifelong friends. KVRR

Concordia College invites everyone to the 2025 Faith, Reason, and World Affairs Symposium, “Responsibly Engaging With AI to Make a Difference in the World.”The event on Wednesday, Sept. 17, will bring people together to consider artificial intelligence’s impact and the moral accountability issues surrounding it, including experts in the field, Concordia faculty, staff, and students, and community members.
