EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Fargo School Board narrowed its list of 29 proposed names for the new northside elementary school to five—Prairie Rose led with 208 votes as other contenders received lower totals. The board will decide on the final name on November 25, and the school will open in fall 2028 as it consolidates two attendance areas. KVRR
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bright Northern Lights lit up Moorhead with vivid green and pink hues—the first brilliant display in years caused by coronal mass ejections sending particles into our sky. The phenomenon will continue through Friday and is best seen away from city lights. KVRR
